THE JOURNEY OF ELECTRICITY Mini Pillars and Homes Mini Pillars
The last stage before the electricity goes into your home is the Mini Pillar which looks like a grey metal box. These are normally located at the end of the street or in parks and will have the yellow Danger of Death sign on it, so you know to stay away from it. Never attempt to force open a mini pillar or poke anything into it – you could be electrocuted. Homes
Finally the electricity is ready to come into your home. If you live in a town or city the electricity will come in through an underground cable. If you live in the countryside the electricity will come in to the house through overhead wires at the undereaves (peak of the roof).
